A Jazz poem for Blue dog followers. (If we have any.)

Blue Dog now why did we choose that name? A Jazz musician is called a cat so are we all insane? There   are cat, so many cats. And didn't want to have a spat. (Over copyright issues.)                                             Bop is a lot. More complicated then Rock. Now you might say my poetry is pathetic. But today I feel poetic. What is Jazz? It is music that swings. And where nobody usually sings. REALLY weird  chords. Nobody's ever bored. That is what  Jazz means to me. From, the Blue Dog Team🐢

How to learn Jazz, a letter from Green Cat on how to start learning Jazz and where to go.

Dear Jazz folks. Blue Dog is on a mission, he is going become a Jazz master. First, he is going to learn Jazstandards such as Satin Doll, Misty, and Autumn Leaves. (Even though he's a standard mutt.) Second, he is going to listen to Jazz as much as he can. (Even though he has a short attention span.) Third, he is going to practice as much as possible. Fourth, he is going to learn as much as he can jam into that tiny mutt brain from places like Blue Dog and YouTube so he can become a jazz master. HA! As if he could match my Jazz skills. Laughing at the post office, Green Cat🐱

A Jazz lick that is quite common. (Lesson 1)

Dear Jazz folks,Today we will be learning about a Jazz scale that is quite common here are the notes in the Jazz lick: C, E flat, F, G flat, G, B flat, C. Here's the trick. First of all whatever note you start on go three half steps, then two, then one, then another one, then three half steps, then two more. Then you're done! 3, 2, 1, 1, 3, 2. Got that? Good that should give you a nice jazzy sound. Practice that scale a couple times then you should get the hang of it. Remember practice makes perfect! From, the Blue Dog-Green Cat team🐢😸 P.s (Green cat was feeling left out.)

Why was the last blog so confusing?

As some of you grammar folks may have noticed the last blog was confusing. Why? You might be wondering. Why did Blue Cat let so many grammar issues go by? And it a Jazz blog no less.
First you must understand Jazz itself is confusing especially Bop with its dizzying notes and super fast beat. We let the grammar issues get out of hand. Our sincerest apology's, the Blue Dog Team🐢
